Maybe it's stupid but at least it's always funny to discuss. Whisper

I was wondering if it is possible to improve the quality of the old BeoGrams e.g. BG1200, 1203 and so on, by placing some heavy metal objects like iron ingots inside the turntable?

This could stabilize them even more and maybe, in combination with some hidden isolation feet, the sound quality could improve or they could be more tolerant to vibrations from their surroundings.

Have anyone tried it and is it even possible to gain anything by doing it or is there other topics that would improve the old BeoGrams?

Some would say it is impossible to improve the old BeoGrams but that might be religion Hmm

Kind Regards,

Christian Leicht
