I inherited a B&O system consisting of a Beogram 8000, Beomaster 8000, and a pair RL-60 speakers. When I got it the Beogram spun at an insanely high speed so after a little googling it was recommended I check the tachodisc. It was shot so I ordered a new one from some guy on the internet and installed it without issue (getting the suspension clips on and off is a pain though).
Now everything seems to be working well except that randomly the speed dips. It doesn't happen on every revolution or at any particular part of a given record. Sometimes it does it a couple times in rapid succession and sometimes I can make it through an entire song without it happening.
Any idea what could be the cause of this?
Once this issue is resolved I just have to find a suitable material to replace on the ABRs in the RL-60s and it will be all good to go
Thanks!
Grab a capacitor kit and replace the lot.

I ordered it from... you I think.
