Hi everybody, I bought a used Beogram 7000 and an mmc2 to use it with my beosound 9000, but I noticed that the tonearm is not in right height.

The lift works, and when I start to play the record, the tonearm “crashes” to the record.

I have to adjust the height or the angle of the tonearm. How can I do this? Any ideas?

thanks a lot 🙂

The arm carriage is mounted on two polished rail which are inclined to leave their mountings during transit, especially when couriered.

Suggest that you open the workings and check the mounting rails. I suspect that one or both have become dismounted.

Regards Graham
