As posted to the "Flash your B&O - new thread!" I replaced the BeoSound 1 in my kitchen by a BeoPlay V1+BL11 combo.
During the last weekend I tried to fin the optimum of settings to take advantage of the BL11.
I tried to configure different Speaker Groups, with different Bass Management settings and volume settings of BL11. Additionally I created a custom Sound Mode with different settings.
But the result were not realyy satisfiying:
When playing music wioth the default settings the BL11 there was nearly no difference between with/without BL11. Only during music parts with heavy bass parts you could hear a slight difference.
When the volume of BL11 was turned up in the speaker group definition, BL11 was OK but some other frequencies semmed to disappear.
Finally I had a talk to my dealer with the following result:
Problem i known to B&O and will be corrected during next SW update.

The latest SW update did not correct the problem, but I found a solution. First I've set BL11 to internal bass management. Then I changed the speaker role in the speaker group from subwoofer to center. This deactivates V1 bass management for BL11 and internal bass management does the job. This solution only works for a 2.1 setup
