Despite having two different master controllers, I can't seem to figure out how to lower the volume of my system. It defaults to level 44 but I can't get it to go lower. Exactly which buttons do I need to press (perhaps simultaneously) to lower the volume?
thanks in advance
dan
Rotate the wheel on the Master Control Panel.

Despite rotating the wheel CCW to assumably lower the volume, it doesn't respond--to either master controller that I own.
Also, how can I change the actual frequency in the FM band to another?
Not intuitively obvious to me yet!
Thanks..
Dan
Correct option setting?

You're a Gold Member. You can download any user manual you want.
Sadly, as a new member, I have yet to figure out how to find the user manuals section within Beoworld.
I have many manuals that came with the gear, but much still escapes me.
Go to Main SiteClick ProductsClick User/servicemanualsMartin
I tried that but get this back:
Sorry but you do not have permission to view this section

Finally gained access to manuals, etc. which fortunately, already have.
Also, with respect the volume control on the master controller, I finally got to work with a tiny cleaning of the volume wheel from the rear side. The additional 5500 Master Controller that i sent for will have to go back--it's not working as promised.
Once you get these things set up--wow. Get sound and capabilities.
(I have the 5500 system with Beogram CD 5500, Beocord 5500 cassette, Beogram 5500 phono, and radio all working through the master controller to a pair of quite tall Beolab Penta speakers.
Congrats; I've got the 6500 system - which I'll never sell..
