Hello BeoFriends. I have a Beosystem 3 connected to a BV4-65 via DVI out and a BS9000 via Masterlink. I have a BV8-32 that I want to mount in the next room that would play the same video/audio as the BV4 and BS9000 if possible. The BV8 does not have Masterlink. Could I just use the 2nd DVI out on the Beosystem 3 connected to the BV8 to achieve this? thanks!

The problem you'll have is that DVI only send out video and not audio. The type of solution you're looking for is called a matrix. It's away to share your sources with multiple TVs in a home and B&O has some supported matrix solutions that can be controlled via PUC. However, for just two TVs, this would be quite an expensive solution.
Which sources are you wanting to share? I see that you're in the US. Later this year, Apple is going to start supporting cable companies in the US such that they can use the Apple TV in place of the set-top box. With 2 Apple TVs, you get a seamless integration with them remembering where you left off from another room. Also, for blu-ray discs that you have, you can redeem the digital copy and Movies Anywhere will add that copy to your iTunes library to play on the Apple TVs.
If you don't have "Apple Remote" or "Apple TV" already in your PUC, you can make the Apple TV learn the IR codes from something else that you have in your PUC.
Beojeff, Thank you so much for your help. My main use for adding the BV8 is to have them play the same thing simultaneously. My girlfriend can be watching TV in the main living room and I can be in the kitchen watching the same thing on the BV8 while I cook. We use an apple TV 90% of the time on the main TV. Maybe the simpleest thing to do is to get an HDMI splitter to plug into the back of the Apple TV and run one to the Beosystem 3 and one to the BV8? I can't see a situation where I would play something different on the BV8 from what is playing on the main TV.
That is exactly what a matrix can do. I can walk from one room to another and have the same source playing simultaneously or have different sources playing. The reason that I asked what source you want to use is because if you want to have access to multiple sources (tv, blu-ray, etc.) you would need a splitter for each source. Beware that you can have handshake issues with cheap splitters.
What do you mean by handshake issues? I would be totally fine if the Apple TV was the only source for the BV8. So as long as I get a good quality HDMI splitter I should be good?
Thanks again for all your help.
BTW, you can only use one BeoSystem 3 output at a time. So you would not be able to have both displays playing the source simultaneously.
Ok, so if this helps, I just picked up a Beovison 10-32 with masterlink. Would this be an easier option to link to the Beosystem 3?

Since you now have Masterlink also on your second TV, you will conveniently be able to distribute the sound from eg. BS9000 to the BV10 and / or the Beosystem 3. You will be able to watch TV on the BV4 while playing music from the BS9000 on your BV10 (and vice versa).
Or play music from the BS9000 to both rooms (in synch).
For sharing video, you still need the aforementioned HDMI splitter.

Thank you for your help. So to clarify, When I masterlink the Beosystem 3 to the BV10-32 and add a splitter for the video, I should be able to have the BV10 play everything (audio & video) that the Beosystem 3/BV4-65 is playing?
