The CD-Clamper of my Beosound 3200 don`t stays in the open position . If I press the "LOAD" button, the clamper opens normally , stays in top position for about one secound and then he always goes down again. There is a small "motor running noise" in the upright position of the clamper. Is there any end position switch, which is not working or could it be a mechanical problem ?

Yes, there is a clamper position switch. It is easy to clean when you have the back of the unit off.

Hi /Weebyx,
many thanks for your responce. The position switch has to be cleaned or renewed ? Is it a well known problem with dust or mud at this switch ?
Kind Regards

Just clean it with isopropyl alcohol. Dont use sandpaper, better to use a thick piece of paper or cardboard soaked with alcohol. Dust is a known problem on these switches, but also the electric connection will leave some black stuff on the contacts that will stop it from working. This black stuff is dissolved by the alcohol.

Hi Jacob,
I`ll try to find somebody to do this. I for myself are not able to open the beosound and clean the switch.
