I bought a BV 7-55 3 months ago and love it, but after reading all the fantastic reviews of the BV 11 I`m considering if I should change??

Any thoughts??

Beovision 7-55" 3D, Beosound 5, Beolab 9, Beolab 8000, Beovision 6, Beo 6, Beoremote one, H8, H2.

In my opinion your TV has the best picture, sound and blu ray player on the planet. All rapped up in a Battlestar Galactica body. If you had less space to work with, then the 11 would obviously now be the model of choice.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

Two very different TV's - both with fantastic picture quality.

If the bells and whistles of the BV11 excite you, why not add Apple TV, a Freeview HD box and a PS3 to your BV7.  You'll almost be there!

Keep the BV7. It is built for the long run, excels and has interfaces to add functionalities (HDMI ports).

I suspect the BV7's BL7.x speaker will give you a superior central speaker sound.

I have not seen the BV11, but compared to BV10 the BV7 is far superior picture wise. The sound is outstanding in the BV7, even if the BV11 has great sound I cant imagine it is even close..

I would keep the BV7. For us the BV7 was a tad too expensive..

The quandary is this. B&O have smartly integrated their new digital chassis into the entry-level products first. I imagine they are continuing to develop the capabilities so that they can introduce enhanced versions of the chassis with superior picture/sound processing in the higher-end products more akin to the BV7 and 9 families in the future.

In my view, none of the TV manufacturers have yet cracked how to really do 'Smart' capabilities within their TV.

Keep your BV7 for the next 18-24 months and watch the market and technology develop. You are not missing anything currently. The Apple tv-set will likely reinvent the interface and way we consume media and that will have all the other vendors rushing to catch-up.
