Anyone know if this might go into production?

This doesn't strike me as a phone that Bang & Olufsen would make in the first place. Besides, why would they enter the market again after the Serene and Serenata made such little impact? They are far too small a player in this marketplace. The mock up phone in the video isn't much different to competitive smartphones anyway, so I am not sure where this video came from but very doubtful it has anything to do with B&O. Simon.

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.

Looks very nice, but lord have mercy how much would that even cost.

If Apple charge 1000-1200 for their high end phones, i shudder to think.

Anyway, i'll chose to be sceptical. Far too many unofficial concept mock ups that content creators seem to come up with, seems to justify their YT channels.

Though i'd be happy to be proved wrong.

If Apple charges £1,000, then expect it to be around £600 on android. My P20 Pro was.

A nice mock-up and nothing more.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

It would make no sense at all for B&O to enter the phone market again. The wireless (landline) phones were top of the bill and worth every Euro of Dollar. Their mobile phones never impressed me. With except of the ringtones & sounds of the Serenata which I still use on my iPhone :-)

Entering the mobile phone market again would be economical suicide.

Very easy to rebadge/skin a phone made by another company. This may or may not be a fantasy concept phone, but there is nothing to stop B&O rebadging another product so as to sell it at two or three times the price to customers fixated more on the brand than the product.

Alternatively, a previous partner like Samsung could just pay B&O a licence to apply the name to a top of the range product so that it's perceived value can command a higher sales price.

Slightly off topic, but do you think you'd be able to upload a copy of the Serenata ringtones/sounds somewhere please? I just googled to try and find them but all the links are dead Sad

Chances are 0? This is just some guy who has mocked something up. No?

I was once told by my dealer - after complaining about my traditional B&O phones (I still have two in my office which are erratic) - that B&O decided many moons ago never ever to get back in to any kind of telephone production! That boat has long since sailed.

Remember, B&O has a very small dev team now. Telephone or cellphone development will be the least of their priorities.

That's just powered by B&O audio. Like a HP laptop.

I still think that B&O could just licence use of their name to any mobile phone manufacturer. This would not involve B&O getting into manufacturing at all, which I agree would be an unlikely route to be taken.

Does B&O do this? Licence their name for other products? The only time their name appears is through association - when they've supplied, say, audio know-how. They do this more reasonably often. But they never just give up their name for another manufacturer to use.

A B&O collab is where B&O has had involvement in the end product (like I said, nearly always audio).

B&O ought to have this video pulled for using their trademarks.

The way B&O have sold off different divisions including the licence to continue using the B&O brand (like the Harman Kardon rebranded as B&O systems now appearing in Ford cars) could just as easily be applied to the sales rights of B&O branded phones. Anything is possible in the business survival game.

But if the product doesn't exist it's just free advertising.

Surely, even if it was real,  it's a Samsung with a tarted up rear cover and a B&O image on the screen!

What's to get excited about a smart phone design today, they're all identical as much as they tell you they aren't

Ban boring signatures!

Noone can control the thoughts of poodleboy - I wouldn’t even try.

Just saying that it is a waste of time....unless you have nothing else to do!

But maybe I am not allowed to say so 😉
