Control Beocenter 2 with a Beoremote One (non BT)

Does anyone know if a Beocenter 2 can be controlled by a Beoremote One?

I’m using an old beo4 to control it and play DVDs via a cable from Steve at Soundsheavenly to a BV11-55.

But if a Beo4 works surely a Beoremote One should too? It’s a bit annoying not being able to use the Beoremote one for both the Beovision and the Beocenter 2..

Hallo- ich bediene mein Beocenter 2 mit der Beoremote One. Unter Einstellungen-Erweitert- Produkte-Anzeigen- dann Beo4 Audio markieren. Leider nur deutsch.
