Hello - I received an RX2 in the mail and the packaging was damaged, the tonearm weight is loose and there were a couple of loose bits nearby. I looked up the tonearm repair forum threads and see nothing about the mystery piece I found. I also looked at the service manual and couldn't find anything.
In the photo the top bit is just a broken part of the cover hinge - no problem.
The larger piece (looks like a pair of pants) is the mystery. It appears to be intact, just loose. Any ideas, and is it part of the tonearm? I haven't been able to get the tonearm to work properly yet.
