Hi all...

I was wondering if anyone out there knows the answer to this...

Is it possible to create a 3D MP4 file from a 3D Blu Ray (I own many... mostly Marvel movies), add that file to my Plex NAS drive (a WD My Cloud Home) and play it back in 3D mode on an Avant TV?

I have attempted it and the TV plays the file or attempts to but it doesn't seem to load properly, either that or it is just buffering a lot because when I press play a couple of times it continues the playback.  However, when I try to get the TV to enter into 3D mode it doesn't seem to want to, as nothing happens.

Another idea I have as to why I am not getting it to work is that perhaps something is happening with the file (side by side 3D MP4 created using a software called EaseFab) during the transcoding process when it is being streamed?

Any ideas anyone?  Anyone doing this already (successfully)?  If so, how?
