Dear all,

I'm making some changes to my link rooms which has set me thinking:

I have a beolink Passive with software 1.4 that I'd like to update to software 1.6 (so I can forward light/command codes to the MLGW). I already have a beolink Active with software 1.6 and I was wondering if the EPROM is interchangeable between Active/Passive units?

I've got some experience with doing software updates via EPROM exchange and have the appropriate antistatic kit, tools etc. It's easy enough but I don't want to damage two perfectly functional units by swapping the chips over if they aren't compatible.

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of this?

Many thanks

Luke
