Beo one or eclipse issue

after not using beo one remote for anything after 10 mins when I touch the volume button no graphics appears on screen. I then now I can’t use the Netflix or prime button, also the services? Button won’t work and if I try to increase the volume the screen goes black but with volume. The display on the screen looks normal.

my eclipse is approx 7 months old and this is second remote. I am not convinced remote issue.

any help or advice
