Hello there, i have a set of beolab penta mk2, but unfortunately I unplugged them while they were playing. Since then they never turned on again. I have some electric/electronic knowledge, so I started from fuses. Only 40 mA burn. I checked the circuit and seems there's nothing burn.
Is it common this kind of problems?
Usually what do you advise me to do?
Do you know someone that can fix them? (I'm from Portugal btw)
It doesn't happen that much that a 40mA fuse is blown.
Mostly caused by a short bridgerectifier and/or the + /- 15V regulators.
Most failures aren't recognized by traces of burned components. If there are, you lucky (could still be the result of sometimes else)
So, after looking starts measuring..
I had some that blew that fuse after led turned orange, I think it was a transistor (bc337) on little door pcb, but the 15V regulators were resoldered too and display (not functional with modern or non Beosystem) unplugged too. That fuse also burns if you connect Penta to walloutlets that control lights (is for dimmed lights English)
