Beolab 8000 vs Beolab 3

Does anyone have compared these? Whats your opinion? Owning the 8000 but like the smaller design oft he 3s.

I compared them intensively before buying the 3s in the early 2000's : the 3s have more definition (maybe thanks to the lens), but both are very close acoustically, for instance I didn't notice any lack of bass on the 3s compared to 8000, which is impressive when you see that there is almost no air inside the 3s...
