Hi beolovers, I'm about to buy a pair of Beolab Pentas MK3 (or not). They are at a fair price, about £ 300, and I need some feedbacks and advices. If I buy I have 3 choices. * connect them to my Beomaster 8000's preamplifier outputs * Remove the beolab amplifiers and connect to the output of the Beomaster loudspeakers * Put Beomaster out of equation Now I listen with my Beovox S120, will it be an upgrade or not? Best regards and thanks in advance.
Hi Hugo,
The Penta 3s are SUPERB speakers, you won't regret buying them! Keep the Penta amps in place and link them to the Beomaster pre-outs for best results with RCA Line cables: https://soundsheavenly.com/line-in-connection/6-30-av-processor-pre-amp-sonos-to-beolab-rca-line-in.html#/2-length-1m
Listening to my Penta 3s whilst typing this......
Kind regards, Steve.
