bringing home a rescue - found a beocenter 7000 with cabinet and unknown speakers

I made the fatal mistake of plugging it in and seeing all the pretty pretty lights - 

So now I've come hat in hand to you wonderful folks to start on what I have to assume with be an amazing journey. I am relatively new to this level of collecting, and this piece will be the first B&O gear I care for and try to bring back to life.

current status: turned on once (without speakers) turntable spins but is missing cartridge (damn rats), tape deck appears partially functional, all lights function, tuner tunes - I might dare to connect headphones later after the office clears out a little
