Hi, not posted for a while. I have a Beomaster 2000 that is quiet in the right channel. I've tried it with both the record deck through the phono input (see separate post), and the CD player through the tape input. Moving the balance slider to the right there is some volume in the speakers (I'm running a four speaker set up) but it is very quiet, and lacks bass. I've tried putting the speakers in different inputs with no success.

The left channel is fine, sounds superb. Clear, cutting, base.....

Any hints would be grateful ugly received.

Hi,

If you’re using two speakers for the right channel, could one be wired out of phase with the other?

Lawrence, thanks for the tip. Ive disconnected one set of speakers, disconnected the other set, swapped them over to different sides and the result is the same - the right channel is weak. I guess at least I've proved the issue doesn't lie with the speakers.
