I just started to look for a replacement to BM-Link this morning - and quickly got to the convetsation-IT.co.uk site. Linkplayer sure looked promising compared to what we've had for a number of years. BUT - there is no working download link. There is a dead link to files.me.com - and any number of Google searches didn't do me much good either.

I finally found a link in this forum - 2 beta 3, which is probably fine, but I have to ask: is the hard-to-get intentional? And further: is there an official download site or link?

thanks,

Helge

hello,

you have found the official site, but still links to lp1.

lp2 download and user information is on forum.

is still a beta, but basically works. it looks like itunes 11 breaks n.radio...

Thanks Scott - I must be missing something.

The download link on conversation-it.co.uk (linplayer tab) is dead - it points to me.com - which is closed.

And - it seems- the version I found via the list (2beta4.11) is hopefully not that latest - since LinkRemote chashes during open (maybe it's LinkRemote ...)

BTW - is there a recent user guide to LinkPlayer??

Hi there

I am having the same problem in finding a working download for Linkplayer, on the Linkplayer site if you click the download button it simply directs you to an iCloud log-on screen (?) and no further information. Can anyone help with a functioning Linkplayer address please (for Mac) ?

I'd love to be corrected but it seems pretty clear that Phil doesn't seem interested anymore. He's taken taken everyone's money - linkplayer was very expensive - and has now lost interest and is not updating it or fixing the bugs. Sad.

That's not fair.

He accepted money for the old version.  The old version works the same as it always has.

We keep our B&O media center Mac Mini at OS X v. 10.6.8 which is what Linkplayer was built for.  We will not update that Mac Mini.  Just like our BeoPort and generally all of our B&O stuff runs on generally old software versions, the Mac Mini must stay on old software in order to maintain B&O compatibility.

We made that decision when we decided to scotch the old BM-Link and go with Linkplayer.  The cost of the dedicated Mac Mini running old sw is small when compared to running the rest of our BeoLink system.
