Swindon is my home town, and only possesses one street worth visiting. In Wood Street there used to be a like most towns, a B&O store but it’s now a coffee shop. The cool thing is, is that they’ve left the Beolab 4000s in place and use them.

Balula’s is one or two doors down from the old B&O store! 😄

The Bath B&O store never reopened - it's now a gallery!

It's really interesting that the Bath owner used to tell me that the Bath store was easily the fourth best-performer in the UK (this was quite a few years ago) and it's closed 3 times in 10 years.

Can't think of many other B&O stores which closed temporarily, reopened by B&O UK, closed and moved, opened in the same location with a new owner, then closed again!

I had some fantastic times in Swindon with Gordon, the chap who took it on after the Swindon/Bath owners went under.

The old B&O store was a running store when I was last there about a year or so ago.  If you look at the door handles, they're the old B&O ones with the logos sanded off.  Balula's is to the right.

The closed down B&O store in my home town (Eastbourne) is now a clothes shop - and they too have kept the door handles (and sanded off the logos!)

Cool I’ll have a look tomorrow night. The wife and I have decided to go wild and spend a night in Wood street. The Cotswolds can be just a bit too civilised sometimes. and Swindon should well and truly wash that away!

Looks like this place is a good place to shop. Whats your experience?
