I had my Moment's software rolled back to the stable version.

When using Airplay for playback and parallel using the B&O App.
You see the played Track Name and Artist Name at the Control View (?) but in the Listening View (?) you only see the Track Name (see attached screenshot). It would be great to see the Artist Name, too!
Another question, when I use Chromecast (with Deezer App) I get the cover art displayed in the Listening View of the B&O app, when I use airplay (with Deezer App) there is NO cover art. Why?When I stream Deezer App via Airplay to my Apple TV the cover art is shown. So the information should be included in the airplay music stream. Why is the B&O app not able to display the cover art when using Airplay?

You see 9 different genre. If you want to see all 20 genre you have to klick on „show all“. Scrolling does not help, you only see another 6 (total of 15 not all 20) but not all (why?).
Now you see 2 different genre (before you saw 9) at the same time and you scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll and ... to see the missing 11 (and only 2 genre at the same time).
I am not surprised, that the B&O App is with high distance the worst rated app compared to competitors in the Apple App Store. And just setting back the rating counter will not help, as long as the user interface quality stays like this.
I hope that some B&O officials are still reading this thread even the new version 2.7 is released and no more feedback is written by Mr.Andersen since then.
I am very disappointed that the bug that courses a freezing app (after 3 to 6 minutes when there is WLAN / LAN connection to B&O products but no Internet connection) is not solved!
Instead „very important“ issues are implemented, like round instead of squared artist pictures and left-justified instead centered captions. WoW that is really the correct priority, wasting time and money for non-sense changes nobody needs. But leaving B&O customers with their problems in the rain!
I am one of the many very disappointed B&O customers.

Another issue with the Integrated Setup:
1. I start playback on my integrated Essence
2. I Join the experience from a second device
3. Playback on my Essence stops because of my timer settings.
4. Now after a few hours, I want to stop playback on my second device. I can't achieve that anywhere.
Selecting the second device is impossible because it is in Multiroom-mode. Selecting the V1 that is integrated with my Essence doesn't deliver any options for changing/stopping what is currently playing. I can stop playback through the manual controls of the second device or the remote that is connected to it, but not via the app. I can only put the entire system in standby on the homepage. If I recall correctly, this didn't happen in previous iterations of the app.
@Seethroughyou: It might have changed IP, remove it and adding it again should resolve it
@alsfeld: I have regsitered your bug and we will take a look. We're not getting cover art from Airplay from the products. For Chromecast it depends on the source
@mm08642: I cannot repro this, but it might be iPad only. We will take a look.

@1990: yes, we are aware of this case. No good solution but all standby for now. We will add play pause to the followers in an upcoming release

@MrAndersen: did you manage to reproduce product status update failing when app is in the background?
Scenario:
- App is running in foreground, product A and B are seen active- App is moved to bacground- Product A is powered off- App is brought back to foreground- Product A and B are seen active, even after waiting a while

Album art missing in PQ for me too, tested with Twonky and Minimserver against a Core.
Dyssegaard:Just retested the DLNA PQ cover art issue on my M5: The problem is still there. It has worked in previous versions. My NAS is a WD My Cloud Home with a PLEX DLNA server. Find a way to lower the volume level of TuneIn to that of other sources!

Perhaps the following will help you, to identify the reason for the bug.
As long as I only use the Beosound Moment, the B&O App works fine within my LAN (without internet connection - I just pulled the DSL connection of my Fritz!box Router) - I tried it for 45 minutes. BUT as soon as I turn on my Beosound Shape (switching on the power) it works fine for another 5 to 10 minutes. I even can start playing music on the Shape from my local NAS via B&O App. But after 5 to 10 minutes, the B&O App freezes. The music goes on playing, but because the B&O App is not anymore working I can not control the Beosound Shape anymore.
I hope you can solve the problem.

It seems that PQ is emptied when selecting a new album now which is great and as I would expect. Thankyou!
However, I think I've noticed a new bug. It seems that the albums are entered into the PQ twice and in an odd order. For example, if I add an album with 4 tracks my PQ will look as follows -
Track-1
Track-2
Track-3
Track-4
Also the device will start playing from the second Track-1 and continue playing from there.
I have tried this with multiple albums on Deezer and on all my B&O devices. It seems to always happen with one time the album being added to the PQ three times.

Thank you very much for looking into this issue. Yes, it is worst on the iPad in landscape mode. The described issue you experience on small displays like on the iPhone, too. But there it is not so extrem.
B&O really should invest much more time / money in the user interface and technical features that are state of the art in other apps. The experience the B&O app is offering would be OK for a low cost Chinese loudspeaker manufacturer. For a design company placing themselves in the high price segment, the offered B&O app is still far away from my expectation I have on a product in this price segment.
And when you look at the ratings in the Apple App Store, I am not the only one who is strongly disappointed. And just setting back the rating counter with every release will unfortunately not help to improve the app at all

Sorry for the delay in responding, I have been travelling and away from my B&O setup at home.
What you have clarified is correct, that's exactly what happens. I have just tried again with Pink Floyd Animals (5 track album) and it has resulted in the album being placed in the PQ three times with track1 in first and playing from the third entry. I cleared the PQ and it did it again. Screenshot below.
This is the latest beta of the app running on Android.
Let me know if there is any more information I can provide to help find this bug.

Same here on M3, couldn't change name.
They're no fields for change name, or grey in the edit field by BeoTool.
Contact the B&O customer support, they tell, select Product options en then change name. Or remove product from app and start from stretch so you give it a name, both options without succes. They don't know where they talking about....

Have you tried going to the M3 Configuration page, then Network and change the name here?
EDIT: Just checked on my M5, this option is no longer editable in the configuration/network page, looks like a product/software issue, not an app issue.

It is simple and sad. Apple do not allow us to change the name if you have used Apple Home to setup your product. If that is the case we must make it read only or fail certification.
Sorry but my hands are tied in this case
