I have a pair of Beolab 4000 MKII 2006 (white foam inside) one developed a problem with a funny scratching sound coming from the tweeter which got extremely hot. I sent it for repair and was told there was a problem on the circuit board - which made sense as I had already swapped the tweeters over to test them and both worked fine in the other speaker. Now I have the same problem again and am wondering whether it's the other speaker with the same problem (unfortunately I don't know which one was repaired!) Is this a well known problem with these speakers or is this likely to be the same fault on the original speaker ? any thoughts welcome ?
Hi, I have this same problem, I wonder if you found a remedy please?
