I recently got a cosmetically very nice white MX500 and matching VX5000.  The tv needs work on it's verical hold, and I can't get a sound out of it using multiple different ways.  I want to use this set up in my basement room.

So I tried my "local Hamilton guy".  He says he could work on the vertical, but would be clueless with regard to the audio.  I was even was able to give him the repair manual that came with it.  So, I decided to call up the service people that B&O suggested for help after the store closed.

I'm told how old the TV is (yup, I know) and that there would be "hundreds of parts" that would need replacing!  Now c'mon.

Starting price $1000.00.

What I'm hoping someone here can help me with is if they know anyone else in Southern Ontario that would be interested in the work?

Guy
