Hi

Having a strange problem with my 9500 cd player, had the 33hf 16v capacitor replaced some 5 years ago and all has been fine.

Now i have the problem of the cd player playing a disk, disk is spinning and the counter is working but there is no sound, after leaving the cd playing the sound will kick in after a few minutes and it will remain fine after this, but if you try to play the cd player the following day the same thing happens.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem? Any help is appreciated.

Many Thanks

Gary

If you only replaced one capacitor on the servo board, I suggest you replace the rest now.
Check also for cracked solder joints at the decoder board and at the power supply module - the center pins of the
large filter capacitors in particular, and at the relay.
