Can anyone tell me how I stop my Beovision 7 setting my Sky Q box to standby when turning off the TV?

It is really irratating having to use the Sky remote to turn it back on each time I want to view.

I think I have seen something like 'standby on shutdown' in the Beovision 7 setup menu but I don't know how to access it and what to change it to.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

Go into connections,  choose the connection that the sky box is on and keep selecting until you reach standby options  screen.

The remote should also turn it back on though via PUC?

Thanks Paul,

How do I get to 'connections'? Pardon my ignorance, I am new to this!

The BEO4 remote doesn't turn on the Sky Q box at the moment - it would be great if it did!

With the BV7 switched on press menu on the beo5. You will probably have a source related menu. Then  press menu again and you should see the BV7 menu and should see Connections then.

Some tinkering within the menu was required (red button then GO) but I evenually found the 'Auto Standby' option and set it to 'NEVER'. Mission accomplished - no more need for the Sky Q remote!

Many thanks for your guidance.

Mike.
