Good afternoon.

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I am trying to find out the best way of shipping a pair of Beolab 8000 speakers from Denmark all the way to Zambia. Need a safe way of packing them and have seen that original Beolab speaker boxes are on sale in the UK but would cost about GBP170 pounds including shipping to Denmark (which seems a bit much!). Anyone know of anywhere in Denmark where I might be able to find second hand or new speaker boxes? Am a bit reluctant to try packing them myself with a 'home made' solution.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

I've started sending speakers individually in cardboard tubes like this, wrapped heavily in bubble wrap. I send the bases in a separate box with lots of impact foam around them.

8000's are horribly time consuming to ship....

Thanks. Good idea. Will a 61inch length + 3 inch diameter hold one speaker (including sufficient bubble wrap) hold one speaker (without the base as you say)? Thanks again.
