Sorry for repost didn't see the beogram forum when n I first  posted, I have a new to me beogram 1900 that works great except the motor is defiantly feeling its age. Very loud etc. I know you can attempt to service it but my main question is compatibly the service manual shows the motor assembly as part #8400085 I can source a new old stockone # 8400087 (they look identical) dose anybody know if they are interchangeable?

Correct part here:
https://beoparts.com/2014/08/14/beogram-motor-8400085/

But all the AC-motors from that time will need servicing now. That includes any replacements you may find - even if NOS it will still be 40+ years old.
Just as well have your own motor serviced, bearings cleaned out, new sinter-oil infused, aligned etc.

Thank you Martin, I was thinking that would probably  the case . Even with the replacement never being installed.

In case you are not aware of his existence : BEOLOVER  has a site on the internet on which he blogs on all kinds of B&O repairs, including motor maintenance and oil infusion
