Hi all,

I recently bought a Beocenter 2200 with a pair S45's.

But of all 4 sound exits (front and rear), does the left one function. What could be the problem?

The Beocenter 2200 doesn't have front and rear speaker facilities, simply stereo. There are speaker pair 1 and speaker pair 2 sockets. The second set are switched by a button at the front of the unit.

Your problem is probably due to a failed fuse. There is one for each channel, and they are located inside a little hatch in the base of the unit. You can see the hatch if you lift the unit, and I think there is a label to indicate the fuse rating too.

The combination of the Beocenter and S45 speaker's should work well.

Which hatch do you mean?

Lift the unit at the front and tip it backwards.Along the righthand side edge you will see a section of the cabinet moulding held in by a small screw.Remove the screw and the moulding section(hatch) to reveal the fuses.

I've since checked the value, and they should be 2.5A slow blow types.

It’s fixed. Changed the fuses and everything works fine!

Goodo!

You should be able to get a user guide for the 'center, that will show you how to set up the record deck arm tracking weight etc,and the rcording possibilities etc.

You can connect a Bluetooth receiver to the tape copy socket at the front of the unit,to allow digital audio downloads from your 'phone or tablet too.
