RX2 Turntable picks up too early

I have a nice RX2 turntable that picks up and returns a bit before the end of the record. I've searched for an adjustment, but to no avail. I looked at the service manual, but couldnt make heads nor tails of it.

I wish I could help, but I’ve not seen this fault ever. I have 3 RX2s running in the house and use the one in the family room almost daily. The one I’ve owned since new in 1991 or so once needed the tone arm lowering position adjustment. But your problem rings no bells. Is this deck new to you?
