Hi All,

Recently picked up a pair of BL20s and absolutely love them. Thanks to everyone from an earlier thread for helping me with the decision.

I'm currently connecting to them via apple tv --> Klipsch RP-Hub1 --> BL20s. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to connect to the speakers through the B&O app on my iPhone? Was nice being able to adjust the EQs / set timers etc with my A9. Was hoping to do the same with the BL20s if possible.

Thanks in advance!

Hi J

As the B&O app works with B&O equipment the only way would be to buy an essence mk2 or a beosound core.

The core will show up in the app (like the a9) and you can give it a friendly name like BL20s

The A9 is a Sound System =  (basicly) an audio player with some integrated speakers.

The BL20’s are a set of speakers, that need a connection to an external source.

It is the audio player/the external (B&O) source, that can be controlled by the Bang & Olufsen app.

As Michael writes you’ll need a BS Core or a BS Essence MK2 to do what you intend....

.....which will be hard to combine with what you do at the moment.

Since that hub has audio processing built in, there must be some possibilities for adjusting of what goes to the speakers - but probably no timer settings.

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV
