Beocord 6500 refuse to open and play

Hello.

I've recently bought a beosystem 6500 and, among other components problems, the beocord refuses to open and play.

Everything seems mechanically OK to me, belts are ok and motors are also fine. There are no lights on the panel, (communication problem?).

the question is that the unit worked well until I opened to remove a piece of tape attached to the mechanism, maybe I broke something?

Any help will be gladly received.
