Hi All,
I have recently acquired a Beomaster 8500 and a set of Beovox MS 1500 speakers. Both in need of some restoration.
I first started on the Beovox MS 150. I replaced the rubber / foam around the bottom two speakers and I had to fix some broken wires on one of them. Im really glad with the end result, they sound amazing!
My next project is the CD player on the Beomaster 8500. The CD player does not open fully, and then closing it seems to hit the CD and it does not read the cd.

Have any of you ever encountered this problem? And could you give me some suggestions on where to start?
