Beolit 500 (1965) FM antenna tip

Dear beoworlders,

I purchased nice Beolit 500 type 1101. FM aerial is quite streight, but tip is missing (photo). Could I ask better detail photo of missing aerial tip?

Do you think, was the tip broken and somebody soldered it only?

Not sure if I have a good photo, but what's on your antenne is wrong.
It looks like one of those cast-into-plastic fasteners.

The tip should have a conical body and spherical top, if memory still serves.
