Can't speak for anyone else, but all my other (ugly) remotes are in a reed basket under my coffee table... but if any of you buy this to display your (photoshopped) Beo 4, I will personally fly out to your house and slap you in the face! hahaha
I have a Beo4 which has the display section bent up slightly (works fine though)... but not one with it missing completely!

I visited the old B&O store that used to exist on Rodeo Drive many years ago.
One of the representatives had what looked like metal cylinders from a vehicle engine, with a large o-ring on the top and the bottom to support a Beo-4 remote standing straight up. Very similar to the Beo-4 in your photo above.
When smoothly demonstrated, the coated-surface on the remote stuck on the o-ring as it was pulled out, causing it to fall out of the representatives hands and onto the floor. The metal cylinder with the o-rings then clanked down onto the glass table, and also rolled off onto the floor. Fortunately the floor was carpeted.
I was then asked by the now embarrassed representative if I would be interested in adding that item to my collection. Having a Noguchi glass table at back at home, I could see my wife's reaction to the resulting broken or chipped glass, just before she picked up one of the large wooden support legs to clock me over the head.
My reply ? I was fine with placing the Beo-4's we have flat on tables, and enjoy them that way.
Perhaps this was an attempt to recycle parts at Struer into something memorable. The end result was hideous and not very practical. Memorable though, it was.

Great story. Being a glass top coffee table owner myself, I have never been embarrased about attaching pieces of black self adhesive felt on the bottom of my remotes. Beolink 1000 at least had rubber feet - but they're more or less all gone by now.
My ears.
Too long to list....
If it's a remote controller rack, what's he doing slapping his glasses in there !!!
I almost said iPhone too, then remembered it can be used as a remote. Damn you technicalities...
Talking of iPhones... here's the most ludicrous accessory ever. And this link is REAL !!!!
Yes - it's the iPhone TV hat. Really.
