I cannot make macros that fire based on sunrise and sunset work properly. I have configured my location as 47.6 and -122.3 (Seattle, USA), and nothing happens when the sun sets. My Event looks like this:

Main/House/SYSTEM/Clock/

STATE_UPDATE?ass=0

I can fire my macro manually, so I know the commands work.

Has anyone else observed problems with these very useful events? Appreciate any feedback!

I have attached a screenshot (example) of using the Astronomical clock.

You are right in your coördinates, but you also define (next to your event), a command line to execute the event.

Hope the example can help you.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't see any attachments though. Not sure what you mean by "execute the event", so a screenshot would be very helpful.

Yesterday I configured a virtual button with LED and a macro that would set the LED at sunrise. I did the same for sunset. This morning the LED was ON, so it apparently registered sunrise. However, my sunset event isn't working - I have some lights programmed in my commands in the macro, and they have not come on the last two days...

We'll see if the sunset LED is ever getting set.

I give up. If I configure my blgw to be west of London my sunrise macro fires. If I configure my location to be east of London, my sunset macro fires. I cannot make both work! So now I have my sunrise working and have configured a manual sunset event based on one time for each month. Sucks but better than nothing
