Penta type 6635 - help needed

Good day all,

I am in the possession of a pair of Pentas (type 6635) which I bought new many years ago.

Living in the tropics, the mid range speakers foam has rotted away completely, to which end I just ordered a repair kit from audiofriends.

Next I need to fix one of the amplifiers, this is the big challenge. Where the red light indicates it does receive power, the unit does not switch on anymore.

Fact is that I am not an electrician by any measure, just a hobbyist who would like to fix these beautiful pieces of work.

Are there any instructions available that can lead me step by step through the repair process?
