Hello

Bought a set of beolabs Penta mk1 a couple of weeks ago.

Was working fine but needed some love.

Changed out foam surround of all mid-range speakers.

Bought re-cap kits for cross overs and aplifiers from dillen.

Everything has been working fine since fixing everything. Been using them for about 15 hours since. Transported them to their final home earlier today and after that the amplifier in the left speaker has suddenly decided not to work. Only gives a orange light. The screen in the speaker works fine with the info coming from BC9500.

I checked the fuses and they seem fine. I'll change them out tomorrow anyway. Anyone got any ideas as to why it suddenly shouldn't work?

Check for cracked solder joints.
Particularly at the driver transistors and where the ribbon cable from the front panel is soldered to the amplifier board.

Well. Put in a new fuse. The light was orange. Flipped the 220v power connector when inserting it in the wall socket. Now it works fine and I've been using them a lot without problems. Very wierd.

I'll keep an eye on the speaker going forward.

Thanks.
