Hello

I am reparing a beogram 6006, but the rotor scrapes an the floating chassis. Is there a way to replace the bearing? The platter spins freely, so my second solution would be to machine ½mm of the rotor.

Flip the bearing nylon insert upside down.

Thanks for the advice.

The other side of the insert had much more drag, so i flipped it again, but this time i added a small piece of plastic below the bearing, and this did the trick.
