Does any one have a good condition top cover for a Beogram CD5500 for sale?

Hope someone can help.

Hi Keith

If only the aluminium surface is scrtched, try to buy a sheet of brushed Metal (in the great auctionhouse) and let it cut to size from someone who has a guilliotine shear for sheet metal about 1 or 1,5 mm ( look for a plumber workshop)

Pull of the scratched Aluminium and take some both side adhesive strips on the new Metalsheet and glue it back in place.

The original Metal comes of with pliers and a lot of force, be careful to not cut your fingers if you slip of, wearing gloves is a good idea ;-))

maybe a hairdryer for heating up the surface helps.

Maybe it does't look complete original but it is an option to renew all parts of your system to make them look similar.

Good luck

Chrischi
