Hi,

I am new to the B&O-world, so some things puzzles me.

I would like to check set-up on a couple of recent buys, Beloab 2000 and LCS9000.

I need the sw-versions and ML/MCL setup, but I can't find the way to check with a Beo4 - not in any of the manuals - Beo4/2000/9000.

Can anyone help with an overview (or a link?)

Cheers

Keld

Hi Keld,

The service manuals for the BL2000 and LCS9000 should be here in the Products section of the website. They’ll tell you how to display the SW version.

You’ll need Silver or Gold membership (I can’t see what kind you have).

Thank you,

I found the service manual and it tells me how to do it with a Beolink 1000, but I only have a Beo4, and there is no mention of that.

The buttons are similar between the two remotes. The BL1000 “PLAY” button is the Beo4 “GO” button.

Are there any other buttons you can’t find?

SOUND and STORE-buttons are not on Beo4.

Can you help?

Hi Keld, the Beo4 has a LIST button that can give access to a lot of commands. When you press the LIST button (repeatedly) the Beo4's display shows those commands. You only need to press GO to use the command. In case they are not yet programmed in your Beo4 you can add them.

n the Beo4 manual you can find how to add, move or delete these 'hidden' commands. You should normally be able to add the SOUND and STORE command following those instructions. It is not that difficult: press the mute (orange dot) button and the LIST button simultaneously and the display will say ADD?. Then press GO and press LIST multiple times until you find SOUND. Then press GO and the SOUND command is added under your LIST button. Now you can find SOUND by pressing LIST a couple of times.

Hope this helps!
