Dear Forum, I wish to connect my old Beomaster3000+Beogram3300 setup to my newly bought Beosoud 2 speaker system. However, I can't seem to find any sort of adapter or cable that could work with the beomaster and connect it to Beosound, which is limited to classic 'line in-jack'.
Now I'm starting worry, if it's at all possible to hear radio and vinyls through the Beosound 2 with my current setup?
Hoping to hear from you and a happy Easter to all! :-)
If there is a headphone out on your beomaster you can just connect that to the Line-in of the BS 2 and it should work.
B&O in my life 😊:
It should be easy to connect.
Your BM3000 has Tape-2 Line Out. Use a stereo RCA to 3,5mm stereo mini jack to line in of the BS2. That should work.
Hi skive1967,
Welcome to Beoworld!
Yes, either option mentioned above will work, the Tape 2 Out option that Beobuddy mentioned is the best one to try, as this will give a good signal regardless of the volume setting on the Beomaster (whereas the headphone output needs the Beomaster volume to be turned right up). All you need is a cable like this one to connect to the Beosound 2:-
