In the midst of a global pandemic, I decided to add landline speaker functionality tor conference calls, in addition to the now de rigueur Zoom and web conference interactions. I acquired a Beocom 5 with speakerphone, and hoped to add it to my rock solid setup of 4 Beocom 6000 units, which have worked flawlessly for years. The Beocom 5 would not recognize the old pyramid PSTN, so I thought I'd try adding a Beoline Mark 1 to the mix. Neither the 6000 handsets nor the Beocom 5 would recognize the Beoline. Perhaps software updates are required for the 6000 units (currently on US v1.4 and 1.6). The pyramid base is running v1.3. The Beocom 5 is running v2.1. Curious why even the Beocom 5 won't recognize the Beoline 1. Thoughts/suggestions?

It seems that resetting the base PIN to 0000 could be part of the solution. Otherwise software updates may be required.
