Hello Everyone.

New set of (for me) beomaster 7000 with cd tape.I dig up my M100 and M150 sound good:)

Now it is working figured out the FM station settings with beo4  half day but works. :)

New problem : Phono I have a beogram 8002 I used with beomaster 8000 so it is good.

Connected to BM7000 but nothing no sound no action on off nothing I used the same cable as with the

bm8000. I see several settings in beo4 for phono .How to fix this .Thanks Miklós

Beomaster 8000 and the Beogram 8002 send different IR signals than the Beomaster 7000.

So the Beogram 8002 is not Remote controlled with the Beomaster 7000.

Next thing is the Beomaster has a phono Preamp installed. The Beomaster 7000 hasn‘t. So you need an external preamp or one of the rare Preamp

modules you can install in your 7000.

You need to do the following:

1. You need a RIAA amplifier which boosts the signal from the Beogram 8002 to line level.

2. You can still get remote control but you need to connect pins 6 and 7 - Beograms with a built in RIAA use the opposite pin to the non RIAA ones for remote control. This does require a bit of wiring but I dare say Steve at Sounds Heavenly can help!

Thank Peter! Just to double check, that I have understood this correctly... PIN6 --> PIN7 and PIN7 --> PIN6?
