My Beovision 11-40 is exactly where it was when it was first installed by my dealer 5 years ago and I'd like to move it a bit, but I can't figure out how to do it safely.  I can't find any instructions online on how to do it.  If anybody can give me some tips I'd appreciate it.  It's mounted on a motorised stand.

I've had success in the past by manhandling the base onto a large sheet of cardboard (an old packing box) and then dragging a mounted TV across the floor (carpet or whatever)  It's a two-person task at least, and you may need to carefully lean the whole ensemble to get the cardboard underneath at the start.  Just be slow and careful.

This is how I've always carried BV10's and BV11's - and I've never damaged one yet.

Two people, one each side, support at the bottom and steady it at the top. Make sure you are both holding it the same way..  I've never worried about the stand being connected either - as long as it's attached securely.

** This image is the nearest I can get to the way I carry them. Laughing

I guess that depends on, how far you are going to move it.

If just some meters the Guy-way will be fine.

If to another room, the Lee-way would be best.

I’d remove the tv from the stand though, before carrying it.

Place the tv on something that makes it possible to get a good grip on it, when you want lift it to mount it again.....or let someone else move the stand, while you (a two person job!) are carrying the tv.

Carrying it with the stand is for ‘experienced movers’ only.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Addition:

Make it is some kind of foam which has resistance to weight (to be sure you will not end with a broken glass-front)

or

a dealer can lent you his service feet for the BV11

Never carry a be 10 or 11 mounted on the floorstand.

the Display easily will be damaged. For carrying unscrew it!

Would anyone be able to advise me how I can remove my 2009 BV 11 from its stand please.

I need to get it upstairs!!! I’ve taken out the screws at the centre back of the tv but when we lift the tv, the stand comes with it!!

Slight tilt away from the bottom and lift it off. And make sure the stand cable is unplugged.
