Hi:
Wondering if anyone has had woofer problems with the S40 speakers?
I am playing my records on a 2402 with a MMC 20 S cartridge and both
speakers will pull out very warm sounds, then after say 3 minutes, the left channel speaker will just go
to the tweeters not the woofer?
I thought maybe my stylus? or maybe the wiring connection of the speaker?
I have never opened the speaker. The right side plays beautifully.
Sorry for my poor audiophile vocabulary.

I have S40 speakers and like them very much. They needed their surrounds replaced when I bought them, so I also replaced the crossover network capacitors while I had them apart. I would start there. Member Dillen may be able to provide you with a kit.
