Hi,
I've asked Martin and in case he doesn't have one, does anyone have this model BMaster that they're keeping for parts ... ?? I need the volume control .... !!
Cheers from Aus,
Duncan
I got your mail and I've already looked through some boxes, but it's not a part that I come across every day.How much is broken?
Martin
Are they sliding type? What value and size?
Martin Olsen has a few for sale on his Beoparts site. Have a look at: https://beoparts.com/category/beomaster/beomaster-1600m-1600k/ They are 2 x 20k Ohms pots. and depending on their use have different soldering points on the back of them.
I am after the volume pot. otherwise I'd buy one of the illustrated pots. on Martin's page. Here's a photo of my ruined control. On one side there are five soldering points and on the other, there are four. This is why the pots. Martin has for sale are not compatible.
The original B&O Part No. Is 5310031
The four potentiometers are all different. The volume control has extra tags for the Loudness function.
Perhaps one from a Beomaster 3000 could be made to fit, if the slider is moved over?Same ohmic values but BM3000 potentiometers have shorter actuator arms.
