If you mean use an A6 (one or more) a a speaker physically connected, the answer is no!

The A6 is not a speaker - it is a musicsystem with builtin speakers.

However, you can easily ‘connect’ the Moment and the A6 in order to share sources (expand, join etc) between both.

This is done over the home network - either wired or wireless.

If you want sound from the BS Moment seperately, you will have to connect speakers/Beolabs - either through Powerlink or WiSA/WPL to it directly.

This aaid, some will maybe suggest connecting the PL-out of the Moment to the line-in of an A6.

Ok, this will be possible - but that will not be my suggestion!

You will run into problems with controlling the sound and the sensitivity, that you won’t have, when you’d connect ordinary Beolabs to the BS Moment.

In addition, you could also connect the Moment to a BeoVision with or without speakers (does not apply for the latest LG based BV’s). Joining the A6 through Multiroom/Beolink will work fine.

As said, direct connecting A6 to Moment can be done but is not where it is designed for. Adding beolabs to the Moment might be best solution. You can play both Moment with speakers and A6 in one room and adjust sound levels through the app.

Hope this helps

Thank you so much for your reply.

Can you please expand on your answer because i am not sure exactly what you mean.

I have currently Beolab 18 and Beolab 11 connected wirelessly to the Moment.

Would love to add the BeoPlay A6 to it if possible but has to be done Wirelessly.

Sure, now we know that what you mean is, how to make the A6 part of the same NetworkLink network (B&O multiroom/NL).

Be sure to have both devices on the same wireless homenetwork!

Use the Bang &Olufsen app to see and setup both devices - once that is done, you will be able to e.g. play on one device and ‘join in’ on the other.

Watch this video https://youtu.be/U3ngVtyf25o especially the first half.

Please notice, since the Moment has no support for Google Cast, you can not use chromecast grouping in your setup as suggested in the second half of the video.

For your use case the easiest way to start the experience will be to start playing music, radio on the Moment and then join in on the A6.....either using rhe app or by tapping the speaker (alternatively you can use the Essence Remote or rhe BeoRemote One).

Feel free to ask again.

Thank you so much much, this is very helpful.  I will try it when i get home tonight.

Would you be able to tell me how i can add Spotify to the B&O App.  Currently when I press Music on the App it only shows me Deezer and DLNA.

Its unfortunately not possible to add Spotify. The app is built with Deezer only (as Beosound Moment)

Hi

It worked so well with the App, thank you so much.  What a relief.

Just one small question.

The B&O App only shows me Deezer and DLNA,.

Is there no way I can add Spotify and Apple Music?

Thanks

Hi - as already answered by Hiort, you cannot add Spotify to the App, what you can do is to add the A6 to Spotify via the Spotify app but you’ll not be able to share this music flow with the Moment

You can activate Apple Music in the app Configuration/Music page

BS Moment, BS Core, BG 4002, BC 4500, BS1, BL18, BL19, BL8000 + RCV1, A6, M5, M3, A1, P6 (tks Botty), H5, TR1
