Beovision 8 with Beoremote One

I’m looking for a clear instruction to link Beoremote One with Beovision 8 40. Moved house and having trouble turning tv on, red standby light on. If anyone could assist/trouble shoot what’s happened. The settings on remote may have been changed and can’t work it out, any help much appreciated.

Please try an Beo 4 to start the BV8-xx.

Then have a look in menu and settings Remote.

I think to remember you can set the BV8 to

Beo4 with flat OK Button or

Beo4 with Joystick the newer one.
