Hi,

does anybody know if it's possible to "simply" copy B&O Chips or did anybody actually try it?

Example: Beolab 3500 SW 3.3 chip as a source to make a few more SW 3.3. chips for older Beolab 3500 with older Software.

That would be good solution to keep parts even if supply from B&O isn't available anymore for old(er) devices.

Depends on the storage chip type;
EPROMs (Beomaster 5500 etc.) can be copied,
Mask-programmed CPUs (Beomaster 6000 etc.) can't.
